Love Notes:

“We feel so fortunate that Alison was part of our journey for over a year. She is caring, kind, and has the most comforting and calm presence. She brings with her such a safe and judgment-free environment. Whenever she visited, it felt like having a good friend come by to lend her support. Alison made our early parenthood experience smoother and more joyful. Thank you, Alison, for being such an integral and supportive part of our family!”

-Vivian

“Alison provided essential support, both practical and emotional, as I adjusted to my first year with twins. She is an excellent listener, affirming of my instincts and of a gentle approach to parenting. Alison infused our home with calm and knowledge on a wide array of baby care questions, including tricky sleep patterns. We are grateful to her for her care and attention, and for the reassurance she consistently provided us as we found our footing as parents.”

My Approach

I bring calm to your home and listen with deep care. My philosophy centers on nurturing both you and your baby through this precious time with empathy and understanding. I believe in honouring your baby's natural rhythms and cues, slowing down, and creating space for you to truly connect with your little one.

This journey transforms us in ways we never expected. I'm here to walk alongside you and to honour your experience.

In the tender days of new

parenthood, you deserve

more than just survival. As your Postpartum Doula, I create space where you can embrace this transformative journey with confidence, support, and gentle guidance.

How I Support You

Embracing Your New Identity: The transition to parenthood brings a profound identity shift that can feel both overwhelming and empowering. I walk alongside you through this transformation, honouring your experience and celebrating your growth.

Trusting Your Instincts: I help you recognize and trust your natural parental intuition, empowering you to make choices that feel right for your family.

Validating Your Experience: I create a judgment-free space where all your feelings—joy, exhaustion, uncertainty, wonder—are welcomed and validated. Your experience matters, and you deserve to be heard.

Practical Support: From answering questions about infant care to helping you navigate feeding challenges, I offer evidence-based information while respecting your parenting choices.

Baby Care: When you need rest, I tend to your sweet baby with gentleness and care, maintaining the secure attachment that helps your baby feel safe and nurtured.

Self-Care Guidance: Your well-being matters. I help you troubleshoot and implement sustainable self-care practices that fit your unique circumstances.

Buffering Unwanted Advice: I help you navigate the often overwhelming sea of opinions and unsolicited advice, empowering you to filter what serves your family.

Normalizing Baby Behavior: I share information about normal infant development and sleep patterns, helping you understand your baby's needs without pressure to conform to arbitrary standards by providing you with emotional support and nourishment

Encouraging You To Remember That You Matter Too: On days when everyone else's needs seem to come first, I'll gently remind you that you matter too. Your well-being isn't optional—it's essential.
